“A Return to Healing: Radical Health Care Reform and the Future of Medicine” (Lecture: 1 hr)
The challenges we face in medicine today are no different from the cultural mores faced in business, law, science, religion, sport, etc., throughout history. We continue to be anchored in a self-centered, narcissistic approach to life that has resulted in revolution after revolution without substantive change. We have failed to evolve into a community committed to sharing, giving, and loving. This presentation offers a new health care model that is leading the way towards a higher level of consciousness and true community. (Follow-up workshop:

Session 4
8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Moderator:
Fadel Behman, PhD
Stephen T. Sinatra, MD:
“The Great Cholesterol Myth” (Lecture: 1 hr)
Today’s widely held belief that the best diet for preventing heart disease is low in saturated fat and cholesterol is not supported by available evidence from clinical trials. The concept of “good” and “bad” cholesterol is outdated. The number one dietary contributor to heart disease is sugar. Sugar contributes to inflammation in artery walls. Reduce sugar in your diet and you knock down triglycerides, which are far more of a danger for heart disease than cholesterol.
Robert Haig Coxon, multi-keyboardist:
“Re-Enchantment” (Concert: ½ hr)
Montreal-born Robert Coxon studied composition at McGill University. A highly regarded new-age composer, Robert draws on a broad range of personal, spiritual, and musical experience to create his music.
James J. Hurtak, PhD, PhD, &
Desiree Hurtak, PhD:
“The Opening of the Time-Locks of the Mind” (1 hr)
Consciousness is the common ground of saints and scientists. The concept in quantum physics of “non-locality” tells us that there is a unity and interconnectedness in all of nature. Drs. Hurtak will detail their latest book, The Overself Awakening, allowing us to gain an understanding into Higher Self and universal inner nature. See how the mind is part of the greater cosmos and understand how the process of spiritual growth parallels how our planet is going through its own phases of evolutionary growth. Music and meditation will also be a key part of the experience.

Zacciah Blackburn, PhD:
“Awakening the Gnostic Path” (1 hr)
Zacciah will address the growing phenomenon described as the merging of current science and ancient wisdom, which is validating ancient principles of mystical awareness. Through millennia, traditional wisdom cultures have understood and applied such principles of understanding and witnessing of the cosmos. What numerous Elders of indigenous and Eastern wisdom traditions are sharing, more and more cohesively, reflects this uniting of ancient wisdom and modern technology and knowledge. Zacciah will guide us in an experiential practice to enter the “gnosis,” the direct method of experiencing and knowing the inner most states of awareness and actualized Self, in relationship to the Cosmos.
