Larry Burk, MD:
“Dreams That Can Save Your Life: Diagnosis and Healing” (Lecture: 1 hr)
Dr. Burk, holistic radiologist at Duke University, is the author of Let Magic Happen and Dreams That Can Save Your Life. He explains how dreams can warn of cancer prior to the onset of symptoms, prompt early diagnosis and guide the healing process. The first scientific study of breast cancer dreams has been followed, with additional reports of many other types of cancer dreams.
Rev. Raul Valverde, PhD:
“The Gnostic Gospels of Mary Magdalene and Thomas, Supporting the Quantum Consciousness Paradigm” (Lecture: 1 hr)
The quantum consciousness paradigm explains that consciousness is immortal, non-local, and can work independently of the physical brain, suggesting a multidimensional view of the human mind. Early Christian teachings contained in the Gnostic gospels support several of these concepts, such as the immortality and non-locality of human consciousness. The ideas presented here will pique the interest of those seeking to unify Christianity and science.
Gaelynn Lea:
“Accessibility in the Arts” (Lecture: 1 hr)
Gaelynn Lea gives an overview of her life as a touring musician with a disability. She discusses why accessibility and inclusion in the arts and healing fields are so important in 2019, and gives practical tips to promote inclusion.
Special Interfaith Celebration for Fr. John at the gravesite. Transportation will be provided and an on-site luncheon is included. • Extra-registration: $20
