Fadel Behman, PhD: “Living in the Cosmic Heart of Oneness” (Plenary Session: 1½ hrs)
In the era of Classical Physics, space was looked at as empty — a quantum vacuum. Now Quantum Physics says that space is full of energy — a quantum plenum. Another gift from quantum physics is the influence of the observer on that which is being observed — a connection between subjectivity and objectivity. At the ultimate level, the universe is a single homogeneous sacred structure, beyond space and time, that cannot be proven by science. Closer collaboration between modern science and the spiritual introspective and contemplative traditions could prove beneficial to the understanding of the wholeness of life, and the harmony between the new humanity and the global environment.
